The 11U Mongrels are Finalist in the State Championship! Congrats to Coach Steve, his staff, players and parents.


July 16, 2011: Coach Tom Goller's 8U AA team placed 3rd in the Silver Division of the AAYBA World Series.


June 11, 2011: Coach Phil Taylor's 11U Mongrels win the 19th Organizational Championship in the Got Wood? Tournament at Triple Creek Academy.


3.20.11: In their first 2 tournaments, Coach Robbie's 12U team has kicked off the season with a fantastic start. Knocking on the door again the 12U Mongrels took Runner Up in the St. Patrick's Day Shoot-Out.


3.13.11: Mongrels Dominate Luck of the Irish Tournament. Congratulations to all the players and parents of Coach Phil's 11U Mongrel Championship and Coach Robbie's 12U Runner Up in the Luck of the Irish Tournament in Allen, Texas.

BWW General Manager Melissa presents Coach Robbie and Coach Cox a check for $1,050 for Strikes Against Cancer.

At the BWW Coach Nick and Coach Steve recognized all of the Mini Mongrels. Hayden O'Neal is seen here receiving his Season 6U Trophy.


Congratulations to all the players and parents of Coach Phil and Coach Steve's 11U McKinney Mongrels on their Tara Sawyer Memorial Tournament Championship. This represents the 17th organizational Championship and our 4th Title for the 2010 season.

8.29.10: McKinney Mongrels 8U Machine Pitch team defends their title in Preseason Kick-Off Tournament. This represents the Mongrels 16th Championship in History. Congratulations!


7.10.10: AAYBA World Series The McKinney Mongrels are your AAYBA World Series Sliver Division Champions! Way to go DAWGS! Congratulations on your Championship!


6.02.10 The Underdog McKinney Mongrels Win the Advanced Machine Pitch Championship! After a three win season, the Mongrels Gray MP team goes on a five game winning streak. The Mongrels defeat the favored 14-0 Frozen Ropes NTX Elite soundly 13-7. Don't Co

Coach Phil's 11U Mongrels Pitcher Geordon Cox and Coach Robbie featured in Dallas Morning News article on Strikes Against Cancer. McKinney Mongrels to raise money for cancer research over the 2011 season and beyond. www.strikesagainstcancer.org. 

The McKinney Mongrels Tournament Bus is Ready! We have our special license plate DAWG21, Number 21, in honor of Coach Cox's favorite player Roberto Clemente. The interior is complete with Mongrel logos and Coach Tracy will be installing the stereo next week! All Mongrels team have the ability to schedule the bus for tournament or league use. 

Ernie Power loved baseball. The Ernie Power Fund goes to families and players of the McKinney Mongrels that have the passion and desire for select baseball, but may not have the financial resources. The Ernie Power family sponsors boys to help cover their select baseball fees. If you share Ernie's passion you can make a tax-deductible donation in his memory to the McKinney Mongrels. 


3.23.10 - The McKinney Mongrels are Flagship Youth Team in Texas for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. FCA Baseball is a comprehensive national ministry that incorporates ministry to athletes and coaches at all levels of baseball: professional, college and youth. We conduct youth clinics, coaches and parent seminars, and field various age levels of competitive teams for players and coaches to improve their baseball skills as well as grow spiritually.
